Pack for a Purpose 2017: Africa & Cambodia

“I’m so very happy that I was involved in Pack for a Purpose Kenya. It has been one of the greatest experiences of my life to be involved with the community helping, learning and sharing knowledge…I encourage those who are thinking about doing something like this to go for it!”  – Michelle R.

This month, SEEDS Newcastle launched its first two Pack for a Purpose trips. To say it was an adventure is an understatement!

From the plains of the Maasai Mara, Kenya, to the villages of Cambodia, our team of volunteers passionately worked on social projects calculated to bring education to communities.

In the Maasai Mara, SEEDS helped build a secondary school for girls, conduct dental and medical exams, and conduct projects encouraging students to pursue a positive future; in Cambodia, near Pursat, we constructed a shelter and playground and presented nutritional seminars for mothers and children as part of the Cambodia CHOICES program.

It was an incredible success!

We are already planning our next Pack for a Purpose Trip 2018! See seedsnewcastle.com/give for info.
